Bobby Cole (credits include MTV, National Geographic channel, History network, Cartoon network, ITV, DC Comics, Red Bull, Reebok and many more) launched Vocal Harmony choir for adults in 2012. He is now tweaking the format and bringing it to a younger audience, looking for all singers aged 7 – 12.

At Vocal Harmony Kids we sing very modern music from the last 5 years, and from such films like Frozen, Trolls and Despicable Me. Our song list includes tracks by artists such as Katy Perry, One Direction, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Little Mix and many more. We also aim to only choose songs with positive lyrical content.

Vocal Harmony Kids teaches by ‘call and response’, which means that each part is sung and played to the group, they then repeat it back until they have learnt it. The song is then built up in that manner, which means no difficult music to read. The choir runs three terms per year, all in line with school holidays and half terms. At the end of each term there’s a show or performance where the kids will be singing the songs they have learnt.
